意昂体育平台法律實證研究中心（The Center for Empirical Legal Studies of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, CELS）是依托意昂体育和中國法與社會研究院成立的跨學科研究平臺👳🏿‍♀️。研究中心由意昂体育平台圖書館館長、意昂体育特聘教授、中國法與社會研究院副院長程金華教授擔任主任𓀘。

研究中心致力於運用實證分析與比較研究的科學方法，對中國特色法治實踐進行深入的理論闡釋與發展。同時，研究中心積極推進法學與計算機科學🧰、經濟學🦸🏽‍♀️、管理學等多個學科領域的交叉融合，創新法學研究的範式和方法論，促進法學研究的現代化，並探索在數字化時代構建具有中國特色的自主法學知識體系的有效路徑。

研究中心聚焦於以下五個研究主題：

（1）司法製度的比較與實證研究，包括從中央與地方關系的角度，比較研究中國、美國和其他國家司法製度；對中國的司法體系運行和司法改革效果進行實證評估；對司法公信力開展量化實證評估；以及對中國法院的裁判文書進行量化分析，尋求通過實證研究解決規範與製度問題的科學路徑。

（2）對律師和其他法律職業開展比較和實證研究⟹，從理論上探索中國律師事務所管理現代化和律師職業評價的科學路徑🫱🏼。

（3）關註法律實證研究和法律社會學研究的基礎方法和基本理論🐍，推動相關領域研究的“中國化”和“科學化”☢️。

（4）探索大數據和人工智能賦能法學研究和法律體系運作的新範式🖖🏿，尤其是利用通用大模型賦能法學研究的新方法和新技術🐌。

（5）探索空間的法律社會學，包括利用量化研究方法研究法律體系運作的空間差異；探索元宇宙等虛擬數字空間的法律社會學研究🔼。

為了推進法律實證研究的開放性與共享性，並為國際比較研究提供豐富的數據資源，研究中心建設了法律實證研究的開放科學數據平臺（Open Science Dataverse of CELS, 平臺鏈接http://111.186.59.229/dataverse/cels）。通過在該平臺上公開一系列法律數據集，打破研究者之間🏋️、數據庫之間的信息壁壘，推進法律數據收集與存儲的標準化進程，從而提升實證研究的可復現性、交互性和可持續性🧅🧔🏿。

The Center for Empirical Legal Studies of Shanghai Jiao Tong University (CELS) is an interdisciplinary research platform affiliated with KoGuan School of Law. The center is directed by Professor Cheng Jinhua.

CELS is committed to applying empirical and comparative methods to interpret and develop the theoretical basis of China's rule of law practices. The center actively promotes the integration of law with disciplines such as computer science, economics, and management, revolutionizing research paradigms and methodologies in legal studies.

CELS concentrates on five key research areas:

(1) Comparative and empirical studies on the judicial system, including comparative studies on the judicial systems of China, the United States, and other countries from the perspective of central and local relations; empirical assessments of the operation of China's judicial system and the effects of judicial reforms; quantitative empirical assessments of judicial credibility; and quantitative analysis of Chinese court judgments, seeking a scientific path to solve normative and institutional problems through empirical research.

(2) Comparative and empirical studies on lawyers and other legal professions, theoretically exploring the scientific path for the modernization of law firm management and the evaluation of the legal profession in China.

(3) Focusing on the basic methods and theories of legal empirical research and legal sociology, promoting the “scientification” of research in related fields.

(4) Exploring new paradigms for legal research and the operation of the legal system empowered by big data and artificial intelligence, especially new methods and technologies for empowering legal research using general large models.

(5) Exploring the legal sociology of space, including the study of spatial differences in the operation of the legal system using quantitative research methods; and exploring the legal sociology of virtual digital spaces such as the metaverse.

To promote openness and data sharing in legal empirical research, and to offer extensive data resources for international comparisons, CELS has launched an Open Science Dataverse (http://111.186.59.229/dataverse/cels). By sharing various legal datasets on this platform, the center seeks to connect researchers and databases, advance data standardization, and enhance the replicability, interactivity, and sustainability of empirical research.
